Full Mouth Rehabilitation

If you’ve consistently experienced issues with many or some of your teeth, you might find yourself wishing for a way to reset and start fresh with a new set of teeth. Full mouth rehabilitation aims to provide this reset, although it’s not as simple as just pressing a button.

Patients often seek full mouth rehabilitation for two main reasons: they want to improve their appearance and enhance their overall well-being. Missing teeth and ongoing oral pain can significantly diminish your quality of life and may restrict the types of food you can enjoy. By restoring your smile, we hope to enable you to once again savor many of your favorite foods.

One of the most rewarding moments in full mouth rehabilitation is when a patient sees their restored smile for the first time. Many report an instant increase in self-confidence and self-esteem. We truly value witnessing that genuine smile emerge, particularly in patients who may have been concealing their smiles for years. While the process of complete mouth rehabilitation can be lengthy, many patients affirm that the outcome is well worth the journey. If you’re interested in completely restoring your smile, please reach out to us to arrange a consultation.

What is Full Mouth Rehabilitation?

Full mouth rehabilitation is not just one procedure but a comprehensive approach that tackles multiple dental issues using a range of treatments. Our goal is to fully restore the health, function, and aesthetics of your mouth using the latest tools, technologies, and techniques available. For instance, one patient might receive a combination of crowns and bridges to replace and strengthen teeth, whereas another might benefit from a mix of clear aligners and veneers. The potential treatment combinations are almost limitless, as each rehabilitation plan is completely customized to meet the specific needs of the individual.

Procedure Overview

Every full mouth rehabilitation begins with an initial consultation visit.

  • If you’re an existing patient, we’ll have your most recent x-rays and dental exam records on file. New patients may require an initial exam appointment where we’ll update x-rays. During your consultation, we’ll discuss your current dental status and your desired outcomes.

  • Following that, we’ll create a treatment plan outlining the necessary procedures to achieve those goals. This plan will include a timeline and an estimate of the associated costs. Keep in mind,  not all procedures in a full mouth rehabilitation will occur immediately.

  • To ensure your comfort and allow for proper healing, treatments may be spaced out over days, weeks, or even months. This also provides time for any personalized appliances or replacement teeth to be crafted, either in-house or by a dental laboratory.
