What Is Invisalign®?
Invisalign® uses a series of clear aligners to gradually straighten your teeth. Each aligner shifts your teeth slightly, so you need to switch to a new set every two weeks. Typically, you will wear around 20 to 30 sets of aligners throughout the treatment, though some patients may need more or fewer sets depending on their specific case.
What to Expect with Invisalign at Lily Lake Dental

At your first appointment, a treatment plan tailored to your goals will be developed. Impressions and images of your teeth will be taken and converted into a 3D digital model for detailed analysis.

Dr. Sara will carefully plan the movement of your teeth throughout your entire treatment. You’ll be able to view a virtual simulation of your teeth—before, during, and after the Invisalign process—so you can see what your smile will look like once treatment is complete.

Using the doctor’s detailed treatment plan, Invisalign® technology creates custom aligners for you to wear at each stage of your treatment. A complete treatment usually includes 20-30 aligners per arch.

Each set of aligners is typically worn for around two weeks and should only be removed for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. With each new aligner in the series, your teeth will gradually shift—step by step—until they reach the final position outlined by your dentist.
