What is the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)?

The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a federal program aimed at providing dental coverage to Canadian residents without dental benefits and with a household income under $90,000 per year. This plan reduces financial barriers to oral health care and gives access to various dental services. At Sunshine Dental Care, we offer the CDCP to both new and existing patients in London and nearby areas.

Eligibility

 To be eligible for the CDCP, you must meet the following requirements:

– No current dental insurance
– An adjusted family net income of under $90,000 per year
– Be a Canadian resident for tax purposes
– Have filed your tax return for the previous year

When Can I Apply?

The application process for the CDCP program is divided into phases based on age.
